1 whole rabbit, cut into pieces

1/2 cup olive oil

4 pounds whole small onions

5 whole cloves of garlic

salt and pepper

1 cup white wine

2 bay leaves

1/4 cup vinegar

2 cinnamon sticks

2 tablespoons black whole peppercorns



  1. Cut your rabbit into pieces.
  2. In a large bowl put the rabbit, the wine, the vinegar, the bay leaves, the cinnamon sticks and the black whole peppercorns. Leave them for 3-4 hours.
  3. In a big pan, put the onions, the garlic, the olive oil, the rabbit and its liquids, salt and pepper, and boil them in medium heat for about 1 1/2 – 2 hours, until the rabbits is fully cooked. Be careful do not stir at all.
