Ingredients
MEATBALLS:
- 1 red onion, grated
- 1 lb ground duck
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 4 slices of bread cut in small pieces
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tomatoes cut in small pieces
- 1 carrot shredded
- 1 zucchini shredded
- Gouda cheese, cut in small squares
- canola oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, put all the ingredients except the gouda and canola oil. Use your hands to mix well for a few minutes until the mixture is quite smooth and very well combined.
- Refrigerate for 20 -30 minutes
- Take some meat in your hand and put in the middle a square of gouda. Then roll into a ball.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the meatballs for 5 – 6 minutes, until nicely browned all over.
